Two Ukrainian soldiers have been killed and another four injured in the Donbas conflict zone over the last 24 hours, National Security and Defense Council spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday. This is reported by Coruption.Info.

"Over the last day, we have lost two Ukrainian soldiers, and another four were injured as a result of military clashes," Lysenko said.

As reported earlier, on April 7 two Ukrainian soldiers were killed and one wounded as a result of the careless handling of a grenade.

The headquarters of Ukraine’s Anti-Terrorist Operation has reported a significant increase in the number of attacks by Russian-backed militants on Ukrainian army positions, with more than 20 incidents on each of the last two days.

The ATO headquarters has also claimed that the militants are attacking Ukrainian positions with heavy artillery and mortars of types that should have been withdrawn by the militants from the front line under the February 12 Minsk accord implementation agreement.
