Calm night in Donbas: only one militant attack recorded

The combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine only once overnight, the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) wrote on Facebook on Friday.
"The last day was almost calm in the Donbas conflict zone. The only shelling of our positions was recorded in the direction of Artemivsk at about 22:00 Kyiv time. The militants started firing small arms on fortified positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village of Lozove," the report says.

There were no violations of ceasefire in the morning.

"From midnight to 06:00 on September 18, the Kremlin-backed mercenaries were not using weapons along the demarcation line. However, at about 01:00 Kyiv time, the Ukrainian troops recorded shots from an enemy anti-aircraft gun not far from the town of Horlivka," the press center said.
