Film about Ukraine’s Revolution of Dignity takes top prize at Toronto Film Festival ( photo, video)

'Winter on Fire' regarded as a monument to patriotism and unity of the Ukrainian people.

"Winter on Fire" takes top prize. 

The documentary about Ukraine's Revolution of Dignity has won anaward at the International Film Festival in Toronto.  

The film won the People's Choice documentary award, according to Ukraine's state information agency, Ukrinform. 
The movie's director Yevhen Afineevsky thanked viewers for their support and recognition of the film as an important historical monument dedicated to the patriotism and unity of the Ukrainian people. 
Afineevsky said the documentary would be available to millions of the Netflix subscribers next month, thanking the company for believing in the film and agreeing to show it to 65 million viewers around the world on October 9.
