As the latest series of Game of Thrones draws to a climax, Danaerys is surrounded at the fighting pits by a militant group called the Sons of the Harpy. Sensing its mother's need, Dany's previously missing dragon, Drogon, appears and burns the threat to a crisp. 

Daenerys then climbs on his back, and the two fly off together. Drogon is wounded, however, and cannot fly Dany back to Meereen. In the final episode of the season, she leaves her dragon to find food and is abducted by a band of Dothraki bloodrunners.
