Ukraine started to receive defensive non-lethal weapons from foreign partners, — Poroshenko

President Petro Poroshenko thanked foreign partners for providing non-lethal defensive weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"…we are grateful for the defensive non-lethal weapons that has finally started to arrive," Poroshenko said Wednesday morning when opening the exhibit of modern weapons and equipment at the Mykhailivska Square in Kyiv, dedicated to the Ukraine's Defender Day. 

The president informed that the exhibit showcased both Ukrainian-made equipment and imported samples from Ukraine's partners and allies. 

"I want to thank those countries and peoples represented by their delegates here for this very much needed support and assistance that you have provided and are providing to Ukraine and its courageous defenders," Poroshenko stressed.
