Roadside bomb kills two soldiers in Turkey’s southeast

The conflict has surged again since a two-year ceasefire collapsed in July

At least two Turkish soldiers have been killed when a roadside bomb hit their vehicle in Turkey's southeast, bringing the military death toll in two days of violence in the predominantly Kurdish east to six.

According to officials another soldier had died of his wounds following clashes on Saturday, October 18, with Kurdish militants near the borders with Iran and Iraq.
