The BIGGEST and cozy prison in the world is near St. Petersburg

Near St. Petersburg is close to completion of preparations for a large-scale move in the detention facility, which will replace the well-known St. Petersburg "Crosses". It is the largest in Russia and, according to the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the world. After moving to the old "cross" will control the FPS, the museum and the set.

The new detention facility "Crosses-2" is designed for four thousand people, and the first prisoners have to translate it in mid-2016. For the first time in Russian prison is made by the standards of 7 square meters per person (in accordance with European legislation, while the Russian assumes 4 meters per person). The total area of ​​the buildings amounts to 163.9 thousand square meters, it will include an Orthodox church, a hospital, a sports hall with a shooting gallery, a concert hall and a museum.

This is the first detention center in Europe equipped with travelators and lifts, and its buildings are constructed in such a way that you can move around the object, without going outside.
