TV star Kim Kardashian never ceases to amaze subscribers Instagram.

After facing backlash for posting a nude selfie on Monday morning, Kim Kardashian has written a lengthy essay that fires back at her haters and fiercely promotes female empowerment.

“Hey, guys. I wanted to write a post elaborating on my tweets last night,” Kim began the impassioned post on her website (according to JustJared), referencing her Monday night series of tweets in which she ranted against her critics.

“In all seriousness, I never understand why people get so bothered by what other people choose to do with their lives,” she wrote. “I don’t do drugs, I hardly drink, I’ve never committed a crime—and yet I’m a bad role model for being proud of my body?”

Some critics, like actress Chloe Moretz, implied that Kim’s photo sent a potentially dangerous message to young fans: “I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies,” Moretz wrote.
