Actress Jennifer Aniston is once again People magazine’s World’s Most Beautiful Woman, the magazine announced today.
The 47-year-old actress tops the list of fellow celebrities in a special double issue that hits newsstands on Friday. She said she was flattered when she learned she would be on the cover.
"I thought, 'Oh my God,'" she told People. "There was this sort of very excited, teenage-y kind of moment."
This is the second time Aniston has been named the world's most beautiful woman .
The “Mother’s Day” star told the magazine that she feels at her best when she is healthy and strong, noting that she was first motivated to take care of herself early on in her career after an agent told her she’d failed to nab a part because she was “too chubby.”
"I was like, 'What?!' But my diet was terrible," she said. "Milk shakes and French fries with gravy. It was a good thing to start paying attention."
Today, she works out an hour a day, at least six days a week — and she's happy with the way she looks, though she wasn't always.
"Well, I've never loved my butt," she told the magazine. "It's sort of a thing. I had a bubble butt and was teased."
But times have changed.
"Now people are paying money to get things injected. Like we're sitting here dying over squats and I'm like, 'Wait, what's the trend?!'" she said.
"I think [I’ve accepted] just my body in general," she added. "I used to be such a little round thing, now I'm just like my body is my body so I've embraced things overall."
Aniston enjoys cooking and working out with husband Justin Theroux. Marriage to him brings her the greatest joy, she said.
"He makes me laugh. He's so interesting and so interested," Aniston told People. "He's unbelievably talented in more areas than one and he's just a good man."
Last year’s Most Beautiful Woman was actress Sandra Bullock. Previous winners include actresses Jennifer Lopez, Lupita Nyong'o and Gwyneth Paltrow.
