A WOMAN punched a migrant in the face when she was attacked at a bus stop.
The Algerian sex attacker was arrested in hospital after his female victim hit back, leaving him with a broken nose.
The 35-year-old had pounced on the young woman early in the morning as she waited for a bus in the Austrian city of Linz.
But he had not expected she would fight back so hard, including punching him in the face.
Despite the broken nose, the man continued to attack her until she fell to the ground unconscious.
He was disturbed by a passer-by he ran off, leaving the half-naked young woman lying on the ground.
The passer-by raised the alarm with police saying that they had spotted a man running off and the young woman unconscious and partially hidden in the bushes.
The man was found by police in hospital where medics treated his broken nose.
Prosecution spokesman Philip Christl said the man is being held in investigative custody.
He is also accused of attempting to rape a 58-year-old woman in Linz in November 2015.
Police say the woman was pushed to the ground from behind by her attacker.
The woman repeatedly kicked the man, who matches the description of the bus stop attacker, before managing to run away.
