Royal day out: Zara gets kiss from Mia as she supports mum at races with the whole family

MEMBERS of the Royal Family enjoyed a day out watching Zara Tindall at the races while soaking up the dazzling sunshine.

The Princess Royal, Anne, spent the day with her two-year-old granddaughter Mia, as the family spent their fourth day in Gloucestershire for the horse racing.

Zara Tindall, the only daughter of the Princess Royal, was joined by husband Mike Tindall, an ex-England rugby player.

The family basked in the warm weather while the 34-year-old took part in the Mitsubushi Motors Badminton Horse Trials.

HRH Anne, 65, donned a casual ensemble of trousers and gilet in varying shades go green and khaki to watch daughter Zara compete.

Mike brought out the shorts for the occasion, as he was pictured carrying his toddler in his arms as mum Zara leaned in for a cuddle.

Zara, an Olympic silver medalist, was riding horse High Kingdom at the cross-country phase of the equestrian event.

The 17th in line for the throne, little Mia was among the Queen's grandchildren photographed around her for an official snap to mark the monarch's birthday.

The little girl, who was clutching her great-grandmother's infamous handbag in the official portrait, has regularly been snapped being carried or on her 37-year-old fathers shoulders during the family's mini-break.
