Louis Tomlinson has returned to Instagram with a note for his fans following the passing of his mother, Johannah Deakin.
Johannah passed away last week after a battle with leukaemia at 42, and since then his fans have shown him non-stop support.
24-year-old Louis headed to his social media page last night to share an image from his X Factor appearance over the weekend, where he bravely performed as part of one of Johannah’s final wishes.
He teamed the picture with a simple but effective message to all of his followers, recognizing the love they’ve shown him, saying: ‘Thank you for the incredible support (sic)’
Following the post, thousands upon thousands of fans responded with even more affection and support for the star and the image has racked up a massive one million likes so far.
It’s not just Directioner’s that have Louis back though, many celebrity friends have also reached out to him at this devastating time.
After his performance on Saturday night’s show an audience member caught X Factor judge Simon Cowell dishing out hugs to the grieving star, and the likes of Cheryl and mother to his child Briana Jungwirth have been very vocal online regarding the situation.
Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne all made their way to his brave X Factor performance over the weekend, and according to The Mirror, former One Direction band member Zayn Malik and he have been messaging privately online.
