Amanda Nunes blasts 'overrated' Ronda Rousey: This is what I really think about her.

Ronda Rousey made her professional MMA debut in March 2011 and won her first 12 fights, becoming UFC's first female champion in the process.

But her four-year unbeaten streak came to an end in November 2015 when she was knocked out by Holly Holm at UFC 193.

Rousey eventually made her comeback 13 months later against Nunes on December 30, only to find herself stopped after just 48 seconds in the face of a fearsome display of punching.

And her Brazilian conqueror revealed that she has always looked at Rousey as someone who could be beaten.

"Since my first fight in UFC, I could have beaten Ronda Rousey but of course I had to take my time and put everything together," Nunes told TMZ.

"That was the day to prove it to everybody.

"But my camp before Miesha Tate was harder than training for Ronda.

"Ronda is overrated, for sure. UFC made it that way.

"Since I saw her first fight I knew I could beat her.

"I don't understand how she went so far in this division. I don't understand how those girls lost to her."

After two consecutive defeats, Rousey is now considering her future as an MMA fighter.

According to UFC chief Dana White, she spent 45 minutes in tears after the Nunes defeat and has told fans that she must take time plotting her next move.

"I take pride in seeing how far the women's division has come in the UFC and commend all the other women who have been part of making this possible, including Amanda [Nunes]," Rousey told ESPN.
