The United States delivered another 100 Humvees to Ukraine's southern port city of Odesa on Saturday morning, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt wrote on Twitter.
According to Pyatt, the delivery of the second batch of armored vehicles is the fulfillment of U.S. Vice President Joe Biden’s promises to support the Ukrainian army with non-lethal military assistance.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on March 25, the first batch of U.S. Humvee military armored vehicles for the Ukrainian armed forces arrived by plane at Kyiv’s Boryspil International Airport.
A total of 30 armored off-road vehicles and 200 Humvees will be delivered in Ukraine.
