Soldiers of the 28th Brigade repulsed several attacks near Berezove (PHOTOS)

Soldiers of the 28th Mechanized Brigade secure the line of collision from attacks of the illegal armed groups.

Over the past 24 hours, the positions of the 28th Brigade was shelled for 22 times along almost the entire length of the area of defense of the Brigade. In addition to a full arsenal of small arms, the militants fired from mortars, 122mm howitzers and tanks.

Infantry battles were reported in the outskirts of Marinka and Krasnohorivka. The terrorists' infantry attacked under the cover of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles near Berezove. The clash lasted for almost 3 hours. Ukrainian servicemen successfully repulsed the attack without casualties among the personnel of the Brigade.
