At least 13 people have been shot and injured at a house party in East New York, with two of them in critical condition, according to police.
Two victims received neck injuries and the rest were hit in the arms or legs, Reuters reports citing NYPD.

The shootout happened at the intersection of Stanley Avenue and Crescent Street in the early hours of Sunday.
At least four of the victims have been reportedly taken to the Brookdale Hospital, two of them with minor injuries, while the others had to be rushed inside on gurneys.
“I heard more than five shots,” Saylo Alston, a resident at nearby Pink Houses, told the New York Post. “I was on my way to the store. Everyone laid down on the ground, and when the shooting stopped, everyone got up and ran. Everyone scattered.”

A man who was at the party said he went outside after the shots rocked the neighborhood.
"I actually helped a girl who was shot in the leg get to the hospital," the unidentified man told the New York Daily News.
No suspects have yet been captured, Reuters reported.
