Artillery Attacks Continue: Ukrainian officer says militants use truce to upgrade equipment

Reoccurring explosions in the distance near militant-held Debaltseve in the Dontesk region are a constant reminder of the ongoing fighting between Russian-backed militants and Ukrainian troops. 

In the morning residents of nearby village of Svitlodarsk found out that a fire had started just outside the settlement. 

A Ukrainian commanding officer said that Russian-backed militants had been shelling the area for several hours.
