This Ukrainian high-end barber gives homeless people free haircuts (VIDEO)

On his days off Dmytro spends his time giving the same pricey treatment to those who can't afford it

This might be the most generous barber in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv. He is walking through a park in the city center looking for anyone who will appreciate a free haircut. Dmytro works in an upscale hair salon during the week. On his days off he spends a few hours giving the same pricey hair treatment to those who can't afford it.

Anatoliy is his first client of the day. He jokingly says a new haircut will make him a lady killer.

Cutting hair for the homeless has almost become a cathartic experience for Dmytro:"The only thing I know how to do is cut hair. And I don't have enough money for all (homeless) so I give them haircuts. They ask, ‘is it really for free?' They think I'm trying to trick them."

Men started lining up after seeing the first results. Many of them want to believe that a 'clean cut' is a 'clean start'. For others it's a confidence boost they haven't felt in decades

After getting a haircut one man returns to his friends, who say he is almost unrecognizable.
