One child killed, three wounded in explosion in Donetsk region, — Interior Ministry

The killed child was four years old, three other children, aged 8-10 years, were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Children were playing in the street and found an unknown object which exploded.

This is reported by Censor.NET citing the Donetsk region Interior Ministry press service.

According to the report, the tragedy occurred around 9:30 a.m. near a private house on Kalinina street, Volodarske village. It is established that four children were playing in the street outside the yard and found an unknown object at the roadway. When they started playing with it, it went off.

The children received serious injuries, one of them, a four-year-old child, did not survive.

An investigation team has arrived at the scene.
