City residents publish photos of flooded streets and half-submerged cars after deluge of rain.
Heavy rain left many streets in Ukraine's western city of Lviv submerged on Sunday. In some part, the water levels reached up to half a metre.
Local residents have posted numerous photos of flooded city roads, and the most active ones even created a map of submerged streets. In some place the downpour flooded not only roads but also sidewalks and basements.
The newly formed Lviv patrol police took an active part in helping people to cope with the results of stormy weather.
A video, published on YouTube channel, shows two policemen taking off their shoes and walking knee-deep in a muddy water to ‘save' women and children from a city bus, which stalled in water.
