China's CCTV called it "the wedding of the century."
Twenty-six-year-old actress and singer Angela Yeung, known as Angelababy, as well as the "Kim Kardashian of China," had a lavish wedding in Shanghai that cost a reported $31 million.
To put this madness into perspective, the Kim Kardashian of America, aka Kim Kardashian, only spent a paltry $12 million on her wedding to Kanye West. And the Royal Wedding, between Prince William and Kate, cost $34 million.
Video of the ceremony was live-streamed online, and it shows just how extravagant the whole thing was. The bride wore a custom-made Dior dress that took five months to make and featured a 10-foot train. That was in addition to a series of Elie Saab dresses that she wore at a pre-wedding photoshoot in Paris.
Adding to the bill was a five-carat diamond ring that cost a reported $1.5 million, a 10-foot-tall cake that looked like a carousel, and goodie bags for all 2,000 guests that included a new cell phone.
