Milla Jovovich has shocked fans after sharing a selfie from the set of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.
The 39-year-old actress is reprising her role as Alice in the film for the sixth time — but this time there's a big difference.
The jaw-dropping snap shows the stunning starlet completely transformed into an OAP as she portrays a much older version of Alice.
For the scenes Milla looks almost unrecognisable as she sports a heavily-wrinkled face and a short grey-haired bob.
Posting the picture to her fans on Instagram , Milla revealed that it took a team of make-up artists more than four hours to complete the look.
She wrote: "#nomakeup JK! thank you to @christinaslashes, @andredinoboy, #federicacastelli and @kerry_skelton_ who worked for over 4 hours at 5 am this morning to create "Old Alice" for our scenes today!
"I will post more pics of the process later! Plus a sexy selfie(not for the weak of heart!) btw, for all those who think this look is for the end of the movie, it's not! #residentevilthefinalchapter #capetowndiary."
It pretty much goes without saying that many of her followers couldn't believe their eyes and rushed to tell the star how amazed they were.
One person wrote: "Oh my god!"
While another added: "Wow, that's amazing. I mean, really shocking, but a very well done job."
It's still unknown what element of the plot calls for an older version of Alice after Milla revealed it won't be a flash-forward sequence at the end of the movie.
The upcoming film is intended to be the final in the franchise, which has been running since 2002.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is set to hit cinemas in January 2017.
Mum-of-two Milla has been known to bring her daughter to set during filming.
So it was only fair that after surprising her fans with the selfie , she shared an adorable picture of her and her seven-month-old daughter Dashiel as well.
The snap saw mummy looking filthy in-between takes while her little girl smiled away.
