KASHMORE/KHAIRPUR: At least three persons died and several others were injured in separate accidents in Kashmir and Khairpur on Sunday morning. According to police, due to poor visibility caused by dense fog, a speeding car knocked down a motorcycle carrying four fruit and vegetable vendors who were on their way to the market at Indus Highway near Baddani area of Kashmore. Two persons died on the spot in the accident while two others were critically wounded and were rushed to Taluqa Hospital where, according to medics, their condition was also serious. In Khairpur, at least one person died and four others were seriously wounded in collision between a truck and van on Sunday. Police said that a speeding truck and a passenger van collided head-on near Tando Masti locality of district Khairpur. Resultantly, one person died on the spot, while four others were injured. The body and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities. The police took vehicles into custody and after registering a case into the incident at respective police station started the investigation.
