American man ‘caught raping 14-year-old boy and preying on underage migrants for sex’

AN AMERICAN man has been caught in the act of raping a teenage boy and arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing children, reports have claimed.

The engineer, 52, allegedly lured teenage boys to an apartment in Rome.

He has also been arrested on suspicion of child porn possession.

Reports suggest the former Boeing engineer’s lair is in the criminal heartland of the city, riddled with gangs and underage prostitution.

The Interior Ministry told II Messaggero that he paid victims up to £115 for sex.

Police planted hidden cameras at the Termini station, where the man allegedly met the young boys, and filmed him “preying” on innocent teenagers.

Last year Italian police uncovered a major prostitution ring in Termini in May 2015.

Romanian, Middle Eastern and African girls and boys are said to be selling themselves in and around the train station, some as young as 11.

They are said to be under the control of men as old as 70 as they look for sex.

The age of consent in Italy is 14 and prostitution is legal.

But streetwalking, promoting prostitution, or working in a brothel is illegal.

The report suggests the 52-year-old man has been arrested and jailed for the sick acts.
