EMMA WATSON has given the thumbs-up to an American pay-to-use website offering sex tips for women.
Speaking to feminist icon Gloria Steinem on Wednesday, the former Harry Potter actress and lauded activist said she had signed up to OMGYES.com, a site that provides detailed research into female pleasure.
“I wish it had been around longer. Definitely check it out," she said, according to The Telegraph.
“It's an expensive subscription but it's worth it.”
The site, which costs £40 to access, says there are 12 different ways to help a woman orgasm, each of which are explored through tutorials with "audio feedback".
The pair's chat also saw them expressing concern over the swathes of pornography available — as well as the difference between that and erotica, and the need for "alternatives".
"The right wing, right wing in just a general way, on one hand is suppressing sex education and allowing, or profiteering off pornography so young people look at porno and think that's it. That's what it's supposed to be," Gloria said.
"I was hoping that having a word for erotica, for shared mutual pleasurable empathetic sex, real pleasurable sex would help us do something about pornography."
Emma replied: "That I definitely think is possible. We should be creating lots of awesome, great alternatives to pornography."
The star has announced plans to take a break from acting in order to focus on her feminist campaigning, after being applauded for a now famous UN speech for the HeForShe movement in 2014.
Her other notable work besides the JK Rowling-penned wizarding franchise includes The Bling Ring and The Perks Of Being A Wallflower.
