WATCH: World’s first Integrally Suppressed 9mm

The new SilencerCo Maxim 9 is the world’s first integrally suppressed 9mm pistol. The Maxim 9 is holsterable with specially made holsters from Raven Concealment systems and is hearing safe with all types of 9mm ammunition.

The Maxim 9 was first introduced in September 2015 and was based on the Smith & Wesson M&P C.O.R.E series of pistols. Now, SilencerCo has made a number of improvements. The handgun now takes Glock magazines and Glock aftermarket sights.

The Maxim 9 has a 4.38-inch barrel that is surrounded by a uniquely designed baffle system that emulates the same design found on the Salvo 12 shotgun suppressor from SilencerCo. This design allows for the removal of individual baffles for cleaning. The gun itself can be shortened by removing baffles and will still remain hearing-safe with subsonic 9mm ammunition in this configuration.

SilencerCo is planning to ship the Maxim 9 in Q4 and will sell the gun for a suggested retail price between $1,500-2,000.
