FOR the past three years the so-called “Bowel Movement Bandit” has been terrorising a US town.
The man — who is alleged to have defecated on nearly 20 cars in the one neighbourhood over the past three years — is now being sought by police in Ohio after a resident caught him red handed.
NBC News reports that the fed-up local set up a camera in their front yard after the suspect struck their vehicles on at least eight separate occasions.
“I was questioning my son: Who do you have mad at you?” said the resident, who didn’t want to be named.
“People were pointing fingers all over the place.”
Other victims came forward after police posted about the phantom dumper on Facebook.
“My mother-in-law walked out of our house one day, and the kids’ front-yard slide had to be sanitised,” Rob Brunson told WKYC.
Akron police Lt Rick Edwards told WKYC: “We need to know who this person is.”
Police made their first public appeal in March and are still trying to locate the offender.
