A SECOND England football fan is fighting for his life after being attacked by brutal Russian hooligans.
Stewart Gray, of Hinckley, Leicestershire, has been left in a coma following a sick attack by rampaging 'ultras' in Marseille.
The Three Lions supporter sustained serious head injuries but is showing "early signs of recovery", according to his family.
Another fan, 51-year-old Andrew Bache, suffered extensive brain injuries at the hands of the louts in the French city.
Mr Gray's family have launched an online donation page to help pay off his mounting medical bills.
They have raised a staggering £10,300 within one day of setting up the Just Giving page, with 495 people having chipped in.
A message on the page says the Leicester City fan "remains in France" and will be "unable to work for a long while".
His brother Duncan has thanked those who have donated, writing: "The family are overwhelmed by your support."
Yesterday it was claimed Russian thugs spat on Bache, also known as 'Pepe', and shouted 'Die' as a policeman gave him CPR.
The father-of-one, from Portsmouth, Hampshire, suffered a cardiac arrest after being ambushed by the crazed hooligans, who wielded iron bars.
A witness said: "There were 30 riot police doing nothing. One gave him CPR. Two Russian fans came over, spat at him and said, 'Die, die, die' in English."
His brother Dean Bache said: "He is still in a serious condition and they won't know the extent of his injuries until he is taken out of the induced coma.
"I was told that the chief inspector of the local police has informed them that they have excellent CCTV footage of the attack."
Mr Bache's 26-year-old son Harry, who lives in Australia, has since flown into France to be by his side.
