PRO-leave visitors left their mark on the English countryside last night by making a massive crop circle — showing Britain beating the EU.
The giant formation was discovered this morning in a wheat field in Avebury, Wiltshire, apparently showing an EU shark chasing and failing to catch British fishes.
The huge formation was made by pro-leave pranksters as the result of the EU referendum was announced.
Local Matthew Williams, 45, was stunned when he discovered the cheeky circle while out flying his drone.
“Whoever made this formation definitely voted leave — unless mysterious visitors weren't on the electoral register, of course.
“It clearly shows proud British fish swimming free despite being circled by EU sharks.
“The three fish in the middle represent Britain, staying strong and resisting the terrifying Eurocrat sharks."
Leave officially passed the winning mark just after six o'clock this morning as voters demanded the UK untangle itself from the 28-country bloc.
At 7.25am the official result declared Britain had voted for Brexit by 51.9 per cent to 48.1 per cent.
Overall, with all votes now counted, 17,410,742 Britons voted to quit the EU with 16,141,241 voting to Remain.
The Electoral Commission said 72.2 per cent of UK voters had attended polling stations on Thursday to take the momentous decision.
