Manager Chris Coleman’s side saw off Northern Ireland in the last 16 but last night’s win against the classy Belgians would see them set up a clash with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal in Lyon on Wednesday.
Coleman said: “Don’t be afraid to have dreams. We deserve this.
“When you have players like Aaron Ramsey, Gareth Bale and Joe Allen, you’ve got to play football.”
Fans said they were hoping Gareth Bale continued his fine form in the tournament in France, with his three goals in four games putting him joint top in the Golden Boot competition.
The Real Madrid star said: “We want to go as far as we can and try to win the tournament.”
Earlier, Welsh fans had faced an anxious journey to the tournament as delays of up to three and a half hours at the Channel Tunnel left them at risk of missing the historic clash.
