Man breaks into home and paints dog purple

And in today’s weird news we bring you the story of a man who was arrested after breaking into a family home and painting their dog purple.

Police went to the scene in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, to reports of a stolen car that had crashed.

Moments later they got another call to reports of a break-in at a home nearby.
It appears as though the window had been forced in and the family found their dog covered in paint, Oakes Bluff Police Department said.
When he was arrested a short time later, Felix Reagan was arrested. He kicked a police officer and tried to get out of the cop car while being taken to jail.

He was charged with:

Breaking & Entering in the Daytime with the intent to commit a Felony
Larceny of a Motor Vehicle
Destruction of Property
Cruelty to Animals
Possession of a Class A Substance
Possession of a Class E Substance
Assault & Battery on a Police Officer x2
