Tiny dog saves life of migrant man trapped in impounded vehicle

A tiny dog has saved the life of a man believed to be trying to sneak across a border hidden in a secret compartment on an impounded truck.

If the dog not spotted the man, who could not escape from the tiny storage box as it was locked from the outside, customs guards said he would almost certainly have died.

The unikely rescue occurred when Spanish border guards stopped the lorry in the port of Melilla in northern Africa, and instructed the driver to head to a waiting area where it was likely that the vehicle would have been kept for several days before finally being cleared to move on.

However the customs dog, called Tango, who is specially trained to detect people hidden in vehicles, started barking indicating there was a problem.
When the customs officers checked, they discovered the man bent double inside.

He was already suffering with blood circulation and muscle problems even though he had been in there for only a few hours.

But was saved by the teeny dog

They said that had they not noticed him thanks to the dog, then the man could have been stuck there for at least another two days, and would probably not have survived the ordeal.

Because the compartment was locked from the outside, it was impossible for him to free himself, they added.

Can you spot the deer? A Klipspringer is hidden in plain sight.) — At first glance this may look like nothing more than a picture of a rocky cliff, but take a closer look and you will realise theres more to it than meets the eye. Hidden amongst the cliff face are natures masters of disguise, two deer cleverly camouflaged against their surroundings.

The two small klipspringers, a type of antelope, blend so seamlessly with the rocky cliff face, they are almost impossible to spot. Roan du Plessis, 26 took these clever images while guiding a safari at Ngala Private Game reserve, with American guests. Roan, originally from Johannesburg said; One of my guests actually spotted them first and exclaimed Whats that? — SEE CATERS COPY

Tango is a small dog that belongs to Spanish Civil Guard and who has been working in the same security area for five years

He has reportedly found thousands of people hidden in vehicles and vessels, many in very dangerous situations.

His small size is said to be perfect to reach the small places where stowaways are usually hidden.
