Donald Trump faces fresh sex claim from former Apprentice candidate

Donald Trump has been accused of sexually harassing a woman who was a candidate on the US version of The Apprentice.

The Republican candidate hosted the show, which follows a similar format to the British edition.

Another woman also simultaneously accused Trump of groping her while they were out, separately, in a Manhattan nightclub.

The women’s allegations are not connected, but both came forward at the same time as the White House hopeful addressed previous allegations of sexual misconduct and assault.
It also follows the release of audio tapes from 2005 showing Trump telling American TV host Billy Bush about ‘grabbing women by the pussy’.

Trump again insisted that the allegations against him are false, and suggested his accusers are seeking fame.

Summer Zervos, who competed in the show’s fifth season in 2006, made the allegations at a news conference with her lawyer Gloria Allred in Los Angeles.
She said Trump tried to get her to lie down on a bed with him when she met him in 2007 to discuss a possible job.

‘He then asked me to sit next to him,’ she said. ‘I complied. He then grabbed my shoulder and began kissing me again, very aggressively, and placed his hand on my breast.’
