In what could be one of the boldest signings in the history of the NFL, today the Pittsburgh Steelers took a leap of faith on QB Johnny Manziel.
The team, who is in need of a backup QB with Michael Vick being released and other backup Landry Jones not really coming together as quickly as they wanted…. The Steelers front office decided it was time to do something extremely bold.
They decided to not do anything right now. BUT, in other exciting NFL news the Pittsburgh Steelers did go out today and sign former Browns QB Johnny Manziel to a new deal.
The reported deal is worth an estimated $11.75 an hour with no health benefits BUT an option for dental after 6 months of employment. Johnny has submitted his resume which states he is really good at cleaning up his own vomit with a swiffer and using plastic bags to gather empty beer cans.
A perfect fit. Welcome Janitor Manziel to the Heinz field grounds crew!
