Nick Kyrgios will return a stronger player following his recent controversies, according to Australian number three John Millman.
The 21-year-old was banned from the ATP circuit for three months after tanking during a Shanghai Masters defeat to Mischa Zverev – the latest in a string of incidents that have attracted widespread condemnation.

"Nick will be the first to admit in Shanghai he had a bit of a brain snap there," Millman said, per the Sydney Morning Herald.
" I guess we all support him and get behind him and hope that you learn from your mistakes."
"I know I have made a fair share of mine – they just weren't as publicised."
Millman added that he was struggling in qualifying tournaments at the age of 21, while Kyrgios was thrust onto the global stage after beating Rafael Nadal at Wimbledon in 2014.
"He's in the spotlight a lot and it's tricky for him, and he will be the first to admit that," Millman said. "But what you want to see is improvement. I am sure we will see that.
" He will take responsibility and be ready to go."
Kyrgios will likely return at the Hopman Cup team event in January, an event he helped Australia win in 2016.
