The 2016 MLB season is finished, but Canucks goalie Ryan Miller has a late submission for Web Gem of the Year.
Playing on a slightly more slippery surface, Miller made a sliding glove save and a beauty Thursday night against the Red Wings that would rival catches by baseball's best defensive wizards
As the Canucks were pulling Miller in the game's waning minutes, the 36-year-old netminder, caught off guard as play suddenly shifted the other way, raced back to his crease. But before he could get there, Red Wings winger Henrik Zetterberg fired a shot at the empty net from behind the blue line.
