Michael Schumacher is now represented via social media after the creation of an official account in the seven-time Formula 1 World Champion's name on photo-sharing site Instagram.
Sunday marks exactly 22 years since Schumacher claimed his first championship with Benetton, following a collision with Williams rival Damon Hill at the season-ending Australian Grand Prix.
"We love to share memories with you and what better start could there be than the upcoming anniversary of Michael's first world championship title," read an introduction next to the first photograph.
"From November 13 this page will be our meeting place to collect and exchange memories and to celebrate Michael's many achievements, established as a thank you gesture to all you wonderful fans."
Schumacher suffered serious head injuries in a skiing accident in December 2013, spending nine months in hospital, and has since continued to receive treatment at home in Switzerland.
His manager, Sabine Kehm, recently denied rumours that he could walk, saying: "Unfortunately we are forced by a press report to clarify that the assertion that Michael could move again is not true."
