This Christmas market has been branded a ‘shambles’ after visitors arrived to find a muddy field, gridlocked traffic and two-hour queues to see Santa.
Furious customers slammed the Bakewell Winter Wonderland and Christmas Market near Derby after they had to pay up to £7 each for adult and children tickets.
They took to social media to share shocking pictures of the ‘awful’ mud and lack of organisation at the attraction.
Helen Merionwen Reeves-Howard complained there was ‘not an ounce of Christmas cheer.
‘Even if there was proper live music, and not just a poor imitation of Keith Lemon, it wouldn’t have been heard over the extremely loud tacky fairground rides.’
