Just days in the wake of commending a stroll off field objective in Carolina, long snapper James Winchester of the Chiefs has encountered an unspeakable catastrophe.
Will Rogers Airport in Oklahoma City was closed down early Tuesday taking after reports of a shooting, and in a shocking presentation of fortuitous event, the OKC Police Department later told the world that the casualty was Michael Winchester, James’ dad.
Winchester, just 52 years old, was a Southwest Airlines employee and a former Oklahoma Sooners punter in his own right.
This unspeakable tragedy will put a significant damper on the otherwise-jubilant locker room of the streaking Chiefs. Our condolences to the Winchester family as this devastating event reaches a terrible apex.
The deceased victim from Will Rogers Airport has been identified as Michael Winchester, an employee of Southwest Airlines.
