A car bomb explosion struck near the Russian embassy in Kabul. The police report 10 people injured and no casualties so far.
A truck bomb attack took place on Darul Aman road, according to embassy spokesman Aleksey Kosarev. He said there were no casualties among the embassy staff. At least 10 people were injured, according to a police officer at the scene, who spoke to Reuters and asked not to be identified.
Firefighters arrived at the scene to put out the fire engulfing one of the nearby buildings, reportedly next to the Russian embassy.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
