If you were one of those youngsters who grew up watching the Spy Kids series, then you will of course remember Alexa Vega as gutsy pre-teen crimefighter Carmen.
The original 2001 movie – about two siblings who learn the truth about their parents’ spying past after they are kidnapped – was a smash hit, spawning three sequels and throwing in more nifty gadgets than you could shake a stick at.
But that was then – and this, folks, is what Alexa Vega looks like now:
Yes, Alexa – who was 12 when she starred in the first Spy Kids movie – is now all grown up – not to mention a whole lot blonder than she was before.
She was last seen in a Spy Kids movie as recently as 2011 – when the 4D adventure Spy Kids: All The Time In The World was released, although took a back seat to new leads Rowan Blanchard and Mason Cook.
Since then you might also have seen her in the likes of Machete Kills and Sin City: A Dame To Kill For – both directed by Spy Kids’ Robert Rodriguez
