MASS migration has caused terror attacks across Europe and is responsible for the recent bloodbath in Nice where 84 people were slaughtered, according to senior Hungarian politicians.
Cabinet Office chief Antal Rogán believes the recent atrocities in Europe occurred because “illegal immigration and terrorism go hand in hand”, and it was “quite clear” the “terrorist perpetrators” of recent attacks including those in Paris were “illegal immigrants”.
He said it was time for the European Union to do a u-turn on refugee policy and stop mass migration.
Mr Rogan blasted the perceived incentivises of the present system to curtail immigration, which he believes is exacerbating the crisis.'
The Hungarian political heavyweight said migration to Europe should now be halted, but went on to say: “Brussels does not want to hear the voice of the people”.
In contrast to the EU, he said Hungary was ready to listen to the views of the people and so the nation is to hold a referendum on migrant policies in October — a vote that is expected to overwhelmingly back closing borders.
The Cabinet Office minister’s comments came just hours after remarks by the leader of the ruling Fidesz’s parliamentary leader Lajos Kosa, who slammed European leaders after the Nice attacks.
He said: “Expressing condolences is no longer sufficient. Europe has changed once and for all. Brussels should give up its position focusing on removing barriers to immigrants.”
Mr Kosa asked: “What else must happen for the European Union leaders in Brussels to recognise that their migration policy is untenable?”
He said all recent terror attacks in Europe were linked to migrants and “radical Islam”.
Hungary is one of a small group of Central and Eastern European conservative, overtly Christian states, known as the Visegrad Four, which also includes Slovakia, Poland, and the Czech Republic.
The comparatively low-population, low-GDP nations have been resisting mass immigration policies in the face of stern criticism from leading EU nations such as Germany.
