Japanese photographer shares secret to his dramatic water droplet backgrounds

Sometimes, the explanation is simpler than you think.

The Japanese photographer behind cosplay photography account @snowfairy88 has revealed what goes into creating the perfect water droplet background for his shots and, while it’s not the most sophisticated of techniques, it certainly gets the job done.

The photographer shared some behind-the-scenes photos of his poolside shoot with Japanese cosplayer Saki Miyamoto on Twitter last week and it seems he really throws himself into getting the perfect photo.

As in, he literally throws himself in. He does a giant belly flop behind the model to create maximum spray just as the camera goes off.
