Han Solo: These actresses are fighting it out for the lead in the Star Wars spin-off

Tessa Thompson, Zoe Kravitz and Naomi Scott have made it onto the shortlist for the mysterious lead female role in the new Han Solo movie.
The three actresses will battle it out for the role after being tested in London this week, according to Variety.

Lucasfilm have set up a production office in the capital, where filming will take place early next year.

Tessa has appeared in Creed and Selma while Zoë had a part in Mad Max: Fury Road and Naomi Scott appears on Fox show Terra Nova.

There are no details yet about the unnamed character although there are rumours that it would be Han Solo’s wife Sana Starros.

In the comic book series, Sana claims to have married Han Solo many years as part of an attempt to pull off a robbery scam.

He denied that they ever got hitched and also made off with all of the cash.

What a swine!
The comics also suggest that Sana is bisexual, so the Star Wars universe may be getting its first LGBTQ character.

Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the Han Solo movie will feature Alden Ehrenreich in the lead.
