Donald Trump's third and current wife Melania Trump has released a statement condemning her husband for his remarks from 2005.
Melania, who has been married to Trump since the year that he made the comments in question, joined many other high-profile Republicans in criticising them nominee for his remarks about women — including the statement "You can do whatever you want to them.
Grab them by the pussy."

Her statement, made public by the Trump Pence 2016 campaign team begins:
"The words my husband used are unacceptable and offensive to me."
Melania, who previously worked as a model, did defend her husband, saying "This does not represent the man I know. I hope people will accept his apology, as I have, and focus on the important issues facing our nation and the world."
