Her comeback fight for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title was announced on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old MMA superstar was spotted heading into a training session at the Glendale Fighting Club in California later on that day.

She showed off her muscular legs in a pair of Daisy Dukes as she went to get some work in with her head trainer Edmond Tarverdyan.

Along with the denim shorts she sported a sleeveless yellow cutoff Roots Of Fight x Lennox Lewis top and flip flops.

The former UFC Bantamweight Champion accessorised with black Ray Ban wayfarer shades and a matching leather designer backpack as she gripped onto her training gear.

‘Rowdy’ Ronda’s brunette tresses were worn down flowing over her shoulders as she showed her natural looks by going make-up free.

The trip to the gym came after it was announced that she would be making her triumphant return to the Octagon at the end of the year after nearly a year long hiatus.

UFC President Dana White appeared on radio sports programme The Herd with Colin Cowherd on Wednesday to announce Rousey would be taking on Amanda Nunes for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship.

She already highly-anticipated match-up will be taking place at UFC 207 held in the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Ronda has not had a fight since the devastating loss to Holy Holm at UFC 193 in November of last year.

At the time, ‘Rowdy’ was undefeated with a 12-0 record and wins over Betche Correia, Cat Zingano, Alexis Davis and Miesha Tate.

She opened up about the depression she suffered as a result of the brutal loss during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show back in February.

‘I was literally sitting there and thinking about killing myself and that exact second I’m like, ”I’m nothing, what do I do anymore and no one gives a s*** about me anymore without this,”’ Ronda told the 58-year-old chat show host, while fighting back tears.
However the mixed martial arts fighter added that it was the thought of her future with boyfriend Travis that kept her going, and gave her the strength she needed to carry on.

‘To be honest I looked up and I saw my man Travis was standing up there and I looked up at him and I was like, I need to have his babies. I need to stay alive,’ Ronda said as the studio audience applauded.
