X Factor judge Louis Walsh calls One Direction ‘monsters’

X Factor Factor’s Louis Walsh has hit out at One Direction describing them as ‘monsters’.

The Irish music mogul also claimed that only Harry Styles would make it as a solo artist.

Speaking to the Mail on Sunday’s Event magazine about the boyband, he said: ‘Too much money, too much success, too quickly.

‘Simon created monsters and that was it. They all think they’re going to be solo stars. They’re not. Only Harry. That’s it.

‘Then they’ll be sorry they broke up and it’ll be too late because there’s another boy band. That always happens in boy bands.’

One Direction are currently on an indefiniate break after Zayn Malik left the band.
Styles has wrapped shooting on Christopher Nolan’s new film Dunkirk while Niall Horan recently released a solo single, which failed to top the charts.
