Lewis Hamilton has decided to have the sperm of his favourite pet dog frozen.
The F1 champ, 31, announced via Instagram that he’s given his four-year-old prize bulldog Roscoe the ‘snip’ due to ‘complications’.
But because Roscoe has such good genes, handed down from his champion show dog parents, Lewis had the sperm preserved so he can raise the dog’s ‘pups’ later on.
The announcement was made on Roscoe’s Instagram page, with Lewis writing: ‘Roscoe is in great spirits.
Due to some complications, we had to have him snipped.
‘However, since he’s the best looking bulldog I decided to freeze his sperm so that in time to come I could have his pups. He is the best pedigree. Both mum and father were champion show dogs so it’s great his gene will live on.’
Lewis has another bulldog called Coco, who’s three, and the pair of them go absolutely everywhere with their racing champ owner. And we mean… everywhere.
Coco and Roscoe’s Instagram page has around 100,000 followers, which is a hell of a lot more fans than Taylor Swift’s cat Meredith has on the social media app — a meagre 18,000.
Rightly or wrongly, if Lewis had Tinder these dogs would definitely be in his profile picture.
Unfortunately for fans of the champion driver though, it seems Lewis — who has been officially single since his split from Nicole Scherzinger in 2013 — would rather spend time with dogs than women.
Still, the racing driver knows to show respect to the most important woman in his life — his mum Carmen, who celebrated her birthday this week.
‘I could rave about you for days, Mum, but words won’t do you justice,’ he gushed on Instagram yesterday.
‘Wishing you the absolute Happiest of Birthdays.’
Lewis should really dial down the cute, just a smidge, before we all puke rainbows.
