Mrs Danczuk, 33, waived her right to anonymity to speak out against Burke, who was jailed at Manchester Crown Court following a trial.
During the trial, she told the court her brother abused her at home in Middleton, near Rochdale from the age of six or seven.
He first raped her when she was just 11 and the abuse continued until she was in her mid-teens.

Burke denied historic sex attacks on three complainants, two of whom were school-age at the time but he was found guilty of eight rape charges and a serious sexual offence, dating back to the early nineties. He was cleared of nine other sex charges.
Mrs Danczuk told the jury the abuse ruined her schooling, left her incapable of love and intimacy and that she struggles with depression and anxiety.
After the trial, she broke down in tears while appearing on ITV’s Loose Women.
