When former women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey fought Holly Holm at UFC 193 — where she eventually coughed up her title — “Rowdy” was unable to out-muscle “The Preacher’s Daughter” and even found herself getting taken down.
Looks like she is taking steps to make sure that doesn’t happen again, evidenced by her rippling back muscles while working the speed bag.
Can’t say we didn’t warn you.
Whether or not said muscles make a difference against Amanda Nunes remains to be seen, but Rousey will get the chance to reclaim her crown when they collide for the 135-pound strap — currently held by “Lioness” — at the upcoming UFC 207 pay-per-view (PPV) event.
Their five-round headliner takes place Dec. 30, 2016 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, which means we have less than two weeks before the women’s bantamweight landscape returns to its previous form, or changes forever.
